Destruction is the inevitable fate of most existent things. Memories and physical remnants disappear. Past lives are lost to the present. But there is beauty in the forgetting, as mystery and imagined possibilities arise in the holes that emerge.

Abandoned photographs, ancient writing, and imagined narratives are combined into book objects which can only be understood in part, through their own destruction.

New associations are formed through the resulting collage of fragments, representing the inaccessibility of the past and unknown possibilities of what might have been.
